Beautiful Beginnings was established as a doula group in San Diego in 1994. Our goal is to help parents through this exciting time in their life! A new baby is coming into the world, and with it, lots of questions, excitement, joy, and the need for a lot of support! And that is why we are here for them!!
For parents, we provide local resources to professionals in the field of childbirth and parenting. We have a wonderful group of labor doulas and postpartum doulas who have all been trained under DONA International (Doulas of North America, International). Labor doulas support laboring couples to help them achieve the birth that is important to them, while supporting all birthing choices. Postpartum doulas are important to the new family as they bring home their precious miracle of life!! The birth of a baby is an exciting and overwhelming time in the new family's life, so the postpartum doula is there to help with the transition into parenthood, allowing them to feel more confident and supported as new parents.

Rosemary Mason and Stacey Scarborough are DONA-Approved Postpartum and Labor Doula trainers, providing trainings throughout San Diego County and other parts of the country.
