Our Doulas
Ashleigh Jackson
Labor Doula, Dittom
LMT-Licensed Massage Therapist
Dittom-Diploma in Homeopathy
In 1999, Ashleigh assisted the birth of her best friend’s fourth baby. It was at that time she realized her calling and how to best share the love and gifts she’s been given. Following that birth, she became certified through DONA in 2000. Ashleigh is a very warm, gentle, giving and positive woman. Her calming spirit brings comfort and support to any mother and her partner during the birth experience.
Ashleigh is married and is the mother of 2 daughters ages 11 and 14. She has been a practicing Massage Therapist for 17 years specializing in Pregnancy massage and many other modalities of massage. She became certified as a homeopathic and Back Flower Consultant in 2002. She has also been studying Nutrition for 29+ years, and hold a certification as a Raw Food Chef and educator. In addition, Ashleigh is a professional photographer, which is great for capturing all those special moments and memories.
Ashleigh’s passion is to support women and their families through the birth process, helping women and their partners understand all the choices they have during pregnancy, labor, delivery and through the postpartum care process. She has an excellent rapport with the Midwives and Doctors she’s worked with. Ashleigh has experience with first time mothers, seasoned mothers, twins, VBAC’s, inductions, home births, water births and c-sections.
