Beth Machado
Postpartum Doula, Certified Happiest Baby Educator-CHBE
“The birth of an infant brings with it such a wonderful but weighty responsibility that it’s a rare parent who doesn’t feel some anxiety and self-doubt.” Harvey Karp, M.D.
Pregnancy is a magical period of parents’ life, full of excitements, expectancies, fears, and uncertainties. As a mother of four grown daughters, among them a set of twins, I felt the same. I have witnessed and helped my sisters, aunts, cousins, friends, and my daughter. I simply adore helping families during the transition time when they become new parents and their family is blooming.
Doula is a Greek word meaning “the person who mothers the mother or serves as a mother’s helper.” I have an inner doula. This is my philosophy of life. I am always ready to help people feel better, empowered, self confident and comfortable what they are doing.
As a Brazilian mother, I have a warm way to provide the emotional, physical and informational support for pregnant and postpartum women and their families.
If you and your family need to be mothered and cared for with love, compassion, a good sense of humor and patience, I am ready during the day, night and I am happy to travel with your family too.
“Beth is an amazing, kind, gentle and loving doula who is very helpful and supportive to the families that she helps!” Deanna Barberino.
