Beth Machado

In 2011, Beth became a Postpartum Doula trained by DONA and a member of Beautiful Beginnings. She has been a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2013.  Beth’s Child and Adult CPR is current. Her experience includes breastfeeding support and bottle feeding, care of multiples and preemies, 4th trimester and nursery organizing.

Her job is to empower the parents during this exciting and challenging time. She believes that by giving them support, education, and listening to their concerns, they can find their way to master parenthood. Dad and mom therefore gets enough sleep so they can fully enjoy their babies. Beth loves to help people keep everything neat and organized and please everybody.

Beth has a funny Brazilian accent. Before becoming a proud mother of four girls – among them a set of twins – and grandma of four boys, she was an aunt of fourteen. Iracema, her sister in law, taught her how to care for the baby, and the importance of postpartum support. This started her Postpartum Doula pathway.
