My name is Katee and I been practicing as a birth doula since 2009.  I am certified through DONA and have attended medicated and un-medicated births in a variety of settings, from hospitals to birthing centers throughout San Diego County.

My goal is to support families during this wonderful time in their lives and to help them to achieve the experience they want to have.  I utilize my knowledge and experience to help women reduce fear and the perception of pain throughout the labor process, which in turn helps to shorten the length of labor.  I also support your partner to help them have the level of participation in this life changing event that they desire to have.

I find it an honor to be invited to participate in a birth, and if there is any way you think I may be of service to you and your family please contact me!  Typically, my services include 2 prenatal visits, including help with your plans for your labor, and 1 postnatal visit, as well as continuous uninterrupted support during your labor and delivery.

I also can assist with obtaining insurance reimbursement for my services.
