Training

Supporting women through childbirth and motherhood is a role that women have played since the beginning of time. If you’re interested in supporting women as a Labor Doula or as a Postpartum Doula, you are in the right place!

IMG 8175The doula trainings held by Stacey Scarborough and Diana Kay, are the official workshops towards certification with DONA, International, the largest and most recognized doula training and support organization in the world. DONA doulas are highly regarded in the field due to professionalism, education, certification process and of course, the doula heart.

Becoming a doula is a 3 day process that starts with the most up to date information on the natural process of childbirth as well as hospital based, home birth and birth center procedures.  The doula receives information for all styles of birth choices and options, and supports the clients choices while keeping the parents in the center of decision making and allowing for a more empowered birth experience.

Stacey DianeDoula TrainingStacey Scarborough has been a trainer with DONA, Int. since 1998 and trains doulas in Orange County, CA, and the Inland Northwest, (north Idaho, and eastern Washington state and Montana).

Diana Kay has been a trainer with DONA since 2015, and trains in San Diego and the Inland Empire area of southern California. Diana is an amazing trainer, and has been one of the most sought after doulas in San Diego over the last 20 years.
